
TECHNOLOGY FOR TEACHERS 2019-2020 COMPETITION
Carefully review the guidelines for each grant competition.
Who should apply?
Special Education Teachers from any of the eight counties CADS serves families with children with DS:

Clarksville-Montgomery County, TN

Cheatham County, TN
-
Dickson County, TN
-
Houston County, TN
-
Robertson County, TN
-
Stewart County, TN
-
Christian County, KY
-
Todd County, KY
Applicants must currently be employed by a school system with a primary role of special education teacher.
Requirements:
A final grant report will be required for every grant awarded.

Only expend funds as laid out in the approved grant budget; never use funds from a grant for items not included in the grant budget or for purposes other than described in the grant narrative.

Support every expenditure with adequate documentation.

It is suggested you keep receipts.
*Note: Design your evaluation process at the outset and begin to collect data from the beginning of the project. [Due July 1, 2020]

Awardees will be required to provide photos, digital media and stories about the project which CADS will share with the community to show what was made possible by CADS support.[Due July 1, 2020]

An expenditure report will be required for every grant awarded. [Due July 1, 2020]

All expenditures must take place within the timeframe of the grant period by July 1, 2020.

CADS requires public acknowledgement of the project must be contained in any material produced/published or publicly related to the award. Where possible, CADS support should be mentioned in any media activities to extend the effects of your project.

Review the grant guidelines. Make notes and write down any questions.

You may begin your application and save your work and return to it for 28 days after you begin the application. After 28 days you will need to begin a new application. Hit save and the system will share a unique link to your grant application. When your grant application is completed, including uploads of principal attestation and completed budget form hit submit. You will not be able to edit your form after you hit submit.

The Competitions open October 12, 2019. All submissions must be received by January 12, 2020.
Applicants will be notified by February 28th, 2020. Awardees will be listed on the CADS website.
